Galveston, TX
We caught up with some friends in Houston. We hoped they might have time to have dinner with us. Instead, they became our tour guides for a day on the island of Galveston.

A ride through the mansion district.
Refineries.
BUC-EE'S Now this has got to be one of the wonders of the world. This one is not the largest Buc-ee's we saw in Texas, but we stopped here. They say everything is big in Texas.
23 Ice Boxes in this photo. Not sure if it's all of them and this is only one side of the entrance. It is repeated on the other side.
There's a store, too.
There were 54 gas pumps. I repeat, this place was not the largest Buc-ee's we saw in Texas
