Plymouth MA The "Home of Plymouth Rock"
Love this sign
The original portico built in 1867 to display a portion of the rock. Before that it sat at the wharf and a hammer and chisel was left by it, so visitors could take a piece as a souvenir.
A portion of the rock was moved around a couple of times, it was accidentally broken in half, put back together and in 1920 the present portico was built to house it.
So, here it is sitting in the sand.

Maybe?

A Monument to our Forefathers
I guess it's a "must see", but it is so commercialized that the history gets lost in the hype.
