We left Sycamore on Thursday and traveled to Zeeland MI. We stayed in a park called Dutch Treat.
We visited friends in Grand Haven and got a little tour of the town.

There was a triathlon the next day. Bikes were ready
There's a place in Holland, MI called Windmill Island and Gardens. The island was created by digging a canal through the swampy peninsula to separate it from the main land mass and pumping out water to make the island usable. The windmill was originally built in the Netherlands in 1761, moved in 1889 and was severely damaged in WWII. It was purchased by the city in 1964 and brought to the US and rebuilt on the island. It still makes flour that can be purchased in the gift shop.

This day was extremely hot and we we didn't stay as long as we might have.

LEAVING THE PARK
To round out our week, we took the Motorhome to Great Lakes Recreational LLC 231-237-5030 in Coopersville MI and left it for a little maintenance. We now have a tire pressure monitoring system and new slide toppers. These guys did good work and seemed fair and honest, so if you need assistance in this area give them a call. They don't do tires, but they did notice that there were sidewall cracks. We'll need to address that sometime.
