We went back
and forth between selling our home and renting it out. We finally settled on selling. We rented a large storage unit and started
storing all unnecessary items. We put it
on the market in March and it sold on the first day it was shown. We can’t back out now, it is really happening,
it’s closing on May 13th.
We moved our
Motorhome to a park about 20 minutes from the city and moved the rest of our non-RV
belongings to the storage unit.
We started
living fulltime in our new home on wheels on May 12, 2016. We still had some goodbyes to make and some
final arrangements, before we could leave town so we decided to leave on the
Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and drive to our friend Karen’s house in
Illinois and stay there until Tuesday after Memorial Day. We park in her driveway.
