The 28th President of the USA 1913 - 1921, who led the US during WWI. He's known for crafting the Versailles Treaty's "14 Points" and creating the League of Nations.
Wilson also created the Federal Reserve and supported the 19th Amendment, giving women the right to vote.
His father was a Presbyterian minister
He was nicknamed "The Schoolmaster in Politics" and known for his Idealism.

Woodrow Wilson had his first stroke in 1906, while a professor at Princeton
Wilson married Ellen in 1885 and she died in 1914, one year after his first inauguration.
He was a successful Governor of New Jersey
When he was elected president, he was running as a Democrat against the incumbent Republican, William Howard Taft, and Theodore Roosevelt (a Republican) running as a Progessive Party Candidate. Roosevelt split the Republican vote and Wilson won.
Wilson met Edith Bolling Galt several months after his wife's death. She became a trusted helpmate and they married in late 1915. Edith was so trusted by Woodrow that he gave her secret codes to access confidential files. She was the first First Lady to travel with the president on goodwill tours. When Wilson had his second stroke in 1919, Edith hid the severity of it and made decisions in his name. Some historians have called her the first female president.
Initially, Wilson believed that women's right to vote should be left to the states
He "evolved" and fought for their cause. Women's right to vote was ratified in 1920.
He tried to steer clear of the Prohibition fight, but that amendment also passed.
